Colonial Terminals – Weather Advisory

Please be advised the National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for our two terminals in Wilmington, North Carolina. Forecasted conditions are expected to deteriorate over the weekend and may include gale-force winds, significant wind chills, and a high probability of snow accumulation.  Due to these conditions, there is an increased likelihood of transportation disruptions in and around the terminal area due to dangerous driving conditions.

Currently, all operations remain normal.  However, as conditions are expected to worsen, we anticipate potential impacts to bottom-loading operations beginning as early as Saturday afternoon.  In anticipation of potential closure, we ask that you send trucks to preload now through EOB Friday.

We are closely monitoring the situation and will promptly notify you of any impacts to terminal operations using this same communication format.
