Future Hurricane Humberto and Invest 94-L Disturbance – Advisory #1
With this notification, Colonial Terminals is advising that we are continuing to monitor conditions due to the development of Invest 94-L and Future Hurricane Humberto. The current forecast from the National Hurricane Center is below, but still largely uncertain. We are closely monitoring conditions but do not anticipate modifying our operations at this time. If this status changes, you will be notified promptly under this same format.
Colonial Terminals has begun storm preparations in both our Savannah and Wilmington terminals which will ensure we are ready should conditions change. It is important to note that we are not experiencing any impacts to vessel, rail, or truck operations at this time. Be advised, even if port conditions remain unchanged, pilots may suspend service if hazardous
conditions are present. Should any changes occur, you will be informed through these advisories.

No current impact, however, during the 11:00AM ET Hazardous Weather Advisory Group (HWAG) call, the U.S. Coast Guard advised changing to Port Condition Whiskey for the Port of Savannah at noon today. This requires all vessels to declare their hurricane contingency plans for USCG approval. The port remains open to all commercial traffic, but oceangoing ships and
barges must report their intention to remain in port or depart. If they are departing, they must do so within 12 hours of gale-force winds.
