Hurricane Idalia - Advisory #4

Colonial Terminals has completed all hurricane preparations and dismissed all non-essential personnel from the terminal network. Our terminal staff will begin evaluating its infrastructure as soon as any danger presented by the storm has passed, and we will update our customers as soon as we have information on our ability to return to normal operations. You will continue to be informed through these advisories that will be issued daily until the threat of Hurricane Idalia passes.

We deeply value our customers and take great pride in the continuity of our service. Colonial Terminals will make every effort to avoid or mitigate any impacts to your operations as long as we can safely do so.

Savannah Terminal Operations 

Terminal Operations

All non-essential personnel have been released and the terminals are closed. A skeleton crew will remain on the terminal providing internal updates throughout the night. Our terminal staff will return at 8:00 a.m. to assess the condition of the terminal, with the anticipation of opening the terminal within a few hours. You will be notified by this format of the opening of the terminal.

Vessel Operations

The Port is under Port Condition Zulu. There will be no vessel operations until Port Condition Zulu is lifted by the USCG Captain of the Port.

Rail Operations

All outbound railcars were pulled yesterday. There will be no service by the railroads that serve our terminals today.

Bottom-Loading Fuel Shipments

Lathrop Avenue: Operations will remain open as long as weather conditions permit.

Woodcock Street: Wahlstrom Terminal Bottom Loading Operations have been discontinued due to the elevation of the terminal and the expected storm surge.

Truck Operations

Liquid Bulk Truck Operations have been discontinued. Dry Bulk Truck Operations have been discontinued.

Wilmington Terminal Operations 

Terminal Operations

The terminal is open through close of business today. There will be a delayed opening of the Terminal on Thursday, August 31st. Terminal staff will arrive at the terminal at 10:00 a.m. with the expectation of inspecting and opening the terminal at 11:00 a.m. The Wilmington terminal may still be subject to the effects of Hurricane Idalia and some services may not be available or intermittent. You will be notified by this format of the opening of the terminal.

Vessel Operations

The Port was placed under Port Condition Zulu at 12:00 p.m. today. There will be no vessel operations until Port Condition Zulu is lifted by the USCG Captain of the Port.

Rail Operations

All outbound railcars were pulled yesterday. There will be no service by the railroads that serve our terminals today.

Truck Operations

Again, there will be a delayed opening of the Terminal on Thursday, August 31st. Terminal staff will arrive at the terminal at 10:00 a.m. with the expectation of inspecting and opening the truck racks at 11:00 a.m.
